Software Engineer · Brisbane, Australia

I design, build and run products end to end: AI agents that act on real money, multi-tenant platforms, mobile apps and smart contracts. Most recently Palydin, a construction finance platform with a production tool-calling agent.

Projects

Palydin

Construction finance and contract management, with an AI agent that works across the whole organisation.

  • Progress claims, variations, extensions of time, retention, cost forecasting, cash flow and Xero cost sync for contractors and principals, on a 60-table Postgres schema.
  • Production tool-calling agent: a router exposes tools by group, every write waits for human approval with a server-built preview, and document answers are grounded by retrieval over pgvector.
  • Every data request, from the app or the AI agent, passes through one permission check, so each company on a contract sees only what it is allowed to. Automated tests block any release that bypasses it.
  • Benchmarked an AI spreadsheet import against a deterministic parser on a real payment schedule (148/148 every run versus 139–148 for the model) and removed the AI path.
  • Native e-signature approval chains with hashed snapshot PDFs, audit certificates and statutory deadline tracking.

  • Led development of the production platform: guest search and map, listing pages, checkout, messaging, reviews, a ten-step host onboarding flow, host dashboards and an internal admin console.
  • Built the booking engine: instant and request-to-book flows with pay-and-hold, generated availability slots, pricing rules, cancellation policies and tested refund calculations.
  • Integrated Stripe Connect for marketplace payments, with scheduled host payouts, webhook logging and a written payouts runbook.
  • Two-way iCal sync so hosts keep their existing calendars, plus background jobs for payouts, request expiry, booking reminders and slot roll-forward.
  • Grew organic search from about 3,400 to 14,000 clicks a month with a content hub and programmatic landing pages by state, region and event; ranks first for "farmshare agistment" and on page one for "horse agistment near me".
  • Migrated authentication to Better Auth in production and hardened phone verification after a security review.

Self-custodial wallet startup logo

Self-custodial wallet startup

Mobile and web wallet for crypto and tokenized stocks, with managed stock baskets.

  • Built the React Native app and Next.js web client over one shared core package; sign in with socials or email, and the system never holds keys (Turnkey with ZeroDev smart accounts).
  • Built the monitoring backend for balances, token discovery and price alerts on Fastify, Postgres and BullMQ.
  • Wrote the basket contracts: ERC-4626 vaults where a manager trades within per-asset weight caps and a daily loss budget, priced by Chainlink, with an oracle-free in-kind exit that always works.
  • Contracts covered by unit, fuzz and ERC-4626 property tests in Foundry.

NOVR logo

NOVR

Online booking for a Brisbane barber studio, built as a multi-tenant product other shops can use.

  • Pure booking engine with no HTTP or database dependencies: roster resolution, availability, conflicts and booking lifecycle, fully unit tested.
  • Rostering resolves four layers into bookable time: recurring templates with multi-week rotations, effective-dated changes, per-day overrides and leave.
  • Customer booking pages and a staff admin over a thin multi-tenant Hono API.

Bitcoin rewards app startup

Mobile app for earning Bitcoin rewards and automated dollar-cost averaging.

  • Built the iOS and Android app in React Native and Expo, with embedded wallets and sign-in through Privy.
  • Worked with the client's team on the Express and Prisma API on Google Cloud Run, including push notifications.
  • Contributed to the Next.js marketing site.

DeFi liquidity protocol logo

DeFi liquidity protocol

Automated, multi-range Uniswap V3 liquidity positions wrapped as a single token.

  • Wrote the vault contracts: an ERC-20 share of a Uniswap V3 position that holds several ranges, compounds fees back in and can be rebalanced, plus a factory, zapper and liquidity-mining periphery.
  • Fork-tested in Foundry against live chain state.
  • Built the supporting stack: a Subsquid indexer, a GraphQL API server and the Next.js app with wagmi and viem.
